In 1946, Clark M. Weldon established the Weldon Funeral Home at 102 East Main Street in Penn Yan. T

In 1975, Bruce Cousins of Freeport, L.I. joined him as a partner in the firm.   

F. Steven Exner joined in 1983 and took ownership in 1994.   He is the current president of Weldon Funeral Home.   

Kyle Chedzoy, a native of Watkins Glen and a third generation Funeral Director, joined in 2020.  He has been a licensed Funeral Director for 28 years.  His family shares time between their home on Starkey and in Watkins Glen.  They plan to move to Penn Yan in the near future.   

For over 75 years Weldon Funeral Home has served families in Yates County.
