William C. Howe

William C. Howe Age 78, of Penn Yan, NY, passed peacefully August 22, 2021. Bill was born in Jamestown, NY, the son of Frank and Ruth Howe. He graduated from Jamestown Highschool in 1961. He honorably served in the US Marine Corps. Bill was a Radio Engineer, working for various radio stations in Central New York. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Howe; daughter, Karin Howe (husband Thomas Keays) of Syracuse; sons, Timothy (Merete) Howe of Kristiansand, Norway, and Peter Howe of Branchport; brother, Robert (wife Janet) Howe of Jamestown; sisters-in-law, Patricia (Irving) Woodard of Port Allegany, PA, and Mary (Robert) Walker of Natrona Heights, PA; brother-in-law, James Anderson of Chino Valley, AZ; and four grandchildren, Lina Apte, and Tirill, Vilde, and Frida Howe. Bill was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Mary “Betty” Hysong. A celebration of his life will be held Friday (Sept. 3) at 11:00am at the White Stone Chapel, 2343 NY 14A, Penn Yan, followed by a reception. A committal service with military honors will be held at Bath National Cemetery at 3:00pm. Donations in his memory may be made to Keuka Comfort Care Home, 35 NY-54, Penn Yan, NY 14527.
