Sharon P. Dellamore, age 76, of Penn Yan, NY, passed away on June 11, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She loved her family deeply. Her legacy will always be as a sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Sharon was born in Penn Yan and was a graduate of Penn Yan Academy. She went on to receive her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Syracuse University.
Sharon went on to have a career as a bank teller in both Syracuse and San Diego.
Sharon’s loving personality was felt by everyone she met. She found great joy in her creative talents. Crocheting and painting were just a few of her talents.
Her love for her children was the purest form of love. She also had a unique, unbreakable, and unconditional bond with both her brothers.
Sharon is predeceased in death by her father, Leland Pinneo, mother Vivian Pinneo, and brother Gary Pinneo.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Leslie, Jenny (Mike) and Gina (Jeff); and her loving brother, Michael Pinneo; two grandchildren, Brennan (Andrea) and Amanda. In addition, two great-grandchildren, Valerie and Luke, who were both the apple of her eyes.
Sharon will also be missed by her lifetime devoted friends, Paula Austic and Sharon Gausman.
Sharon also forged a very strong bond with her dog sister, Stella and her grand dog, Murphy and considered them part of her family. She will be sorely missed by them both.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 1pm - 4pm at the Benton Fire Station, 932 NY-14A, Penn Yan, NY. A memory or condolences may be left in her obituary at WeldonFuneralHome.com Arrangements with Weldon Funeral Home, Penn Yan.
