Sandra E. Marino 

Age 79, of Penn Yan, NY, passed away peacefully at The Homestead, surrounded by family, on Sunday, February 16, 2025.

Sandy was born on April 14, 1945, the daughter of Edward and Onalee (Drumm) Doty. She was a lifelong member of Penn Yan. She was member of the Milo Center Methodist Church, and a former organizer and volunteer of the Parent Teacher Group (PTG) at the elementary school. She worked at Keuka College for 29 years, retiring in 2011 as an Admissions Office manager. 

She was predeceased by her parents, as well as her three brothers, Gary, Roger, and Mark Doty. 

Sandy is survived by her husband of 25 years, Joe Marino; also her children, Debra (Robert) Curbeau, and Jimmy (Ashley) Eaves; stepchildren, Joey (Don) Marino, Michelle (Stacy) Marino, Sarah Marino Carberry (Scot); grandchildren, Cade and Jenna Curbeau, James and Jacob Eaves; and step-grandchildren, Hunter and Tinley Sheenan, and Dominic Carberry; and former husband and friend, Jim (Linda) Eaves. 

Besides Joe, her grandchildren were the love of her life. She also loved her flowers, camping, motorcycle rides, and traveling. Her greatest bucket list trip was visiting Elvis at Graceland. 

The family will receive friends and family at the Weldon Funeral Home, 102 E. Main St., Penn Yan, on Saturday (Feb. 22nd) from 11am-12pm; followed by a funeral service at 12pm. She will be buried at City Hill Cemetery at a later date.

The family wishes to extend their special thanks and praise to The Homestead for their love and care of Sandy over the past 3 years.
