Nancy Anderson

Nancy Marie (Nelson) Anderson 

Age 70, of Penn Yan, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 5, 2025. 

Born March 24, 1954, she was raised in Jamestown, New York before moving permanently to Penn Yan. She spent her life as a devoted nurse, mother, wife, grandmother and friend. She was known for her great sense of humor, compassion for people, and extraordinary patience. 

Nancy loved her Boston Terriers, playing golf, and reading. She was a loving mother who coached softball and devoted her career to caring for children with disabilities. She loved her family, especially her husband, more than anything in the world and she will be missed greatly by those she impacted with her amazing smile and warm heart. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Paul Anderson; two daughters, Lisa Taylor and Julie (Michael) Coleman; three grandchildren, Tyrone Nelson Taylor III, Lilyann Coleman, and Maxton Taylor; and two siblings.
