Margaret M. Rumsey

Age 82, of Baldwin Rd., Penn Yan, passed away September 12, 2023.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday (Sept. 19) at 10:00am at Weldon Funeral Home, 102 E. Main St. Penn Yan; followed by a committal service and burial at Baldwin Cemetery (corner of 14A & Baldwin Rd) in Penn Yan at 10:45am. 

Margaret was a devoted wife and partner to her loving husband, Bruce Rumsey. In her professional life, Margaret previously worked for the Town of Milo as a secretary for the Code Enforcement Officer, as well as at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital and the Bath VA Medical Center.  

Among Margaret's passions was her love for sewing. Through her skillful hands, she stitched together fabric to create garments.  She found great joy in creating clothing for herself and others.
