Lillian lived a long, busy, and happy life. Like her father before her, she loved talking to people and telling stories. She worked as a waitress for many years, a profession she was ideally suited for given her gift of gab, spending many years serving in the dining room in Goldsmith's Dept Store in Memphis and later at the Everglades Club in West Palm Beach. She loved taking pictures of family and friends, and enjoyed traveling all over the U.S. by car to visit people she knew and to see new sights. She delighted in being able to tour parts of western Europe when her son Rick and his family were stationed in Belgium. In later years she enjoyed going to yard sales and participating in social activities at St Marks. She loved playing bingo, and could always be counted on to show up in her signature red lipstick and lots of jewelry wherever she went. A mass in her memory was said at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Penn Yan on Sun March 28th. Arrangements have been entrusted to Weldon Funeral Home, Penn Yan, NY.
