Born on February 9, 1953, Kristine was the cherished daughter of Harvey and Ruth Petersen. Her dedication shone through her role as a manager at the Catholic Charities Cramer House in Penn Yan for an extensive period. Prior to this role, she contributed her time at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital and also provided loving childcare for many families.
She is survived by her husband Daniel; daughters Kristy Dagget, and Stacey Nesbit (Chris Colf); sister, Kathy (Jerome) Boyle; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Dave) Orr, Patricia Maroney, Kim (Jim) Dinehart; grandchildren, Shelby Goodell (Dante Ortiz), Benjamin Nesbit, and Cooper Daggett; great-grandson, Jackson Ortiz; her forever son-in-law, Tom Goodell; many beloved nieces and nephews; and lifelong best friends, Brenda Karwoski, Kathy Supple, Penny Searles, and Linda Healey. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers and sisters, John Peterson, Larry (Peterson) Olsen, Martha (Peterson) Jepson, June (Peterson) Giamanco, Mickey (Peterson) Schneider, Peggy (Peterson) Willis; and Kristine Short; as well as her beloved nephews, Scott Johnson and James Short.
For the past 14 years, Kristine and her husband found enjoyment as Florida Snowbirds. A busy traveler with a passion for crafting and crocheting, she also found joy in playing cards – Hand-n-Foot and Skip-B being among her favorite games. However, above all else, Kristine treasured moments spent savoring coffee in the company of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, kind donations can be made in her memory to Ontario-Yates Hospice at 756 Pre Emption Rd. Geneva, NY 14456. To share memories or offer condolences, please visit www.WeldonFuneralHome.com. Arrangements are being handled by Weldon Funeral Home.
