Katherine Sylvia Holley Mattison

Age 69, of Penn Yan, passed away May 23, 2022.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, at 11:00am at City Hill Cemetery, everyone is invited!

Kathi was born on April 24, 1953, the daughter of the late Robert and Gladys Holley.  She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Barry Mattison; daughter Rebecca (Jeremey) Henries of Penn Yan; and son Aaron Mattison of Penn Yan; grandson Tucker Henries who she loved dearly; brother Frederick (Carol) Holley of Pennsylvania; sister Eleanor Gleason of Bath; brother-in-law Vince Bedient of Branchport; special niece Laura Tambe of Canandaigua, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kathi was predeceased by her brothers Robert Holley Jr. and Herbert Holley, and a sister Modeste Bedient. 

Kathi was a graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College.  She worked as a Pre-K Teacher Assistant for Keuka Lake School in Penn Yan.  She was a past member of the Dresden Fire Department Auxiliary. 

Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Hope Walk of Yates County (HopeWalkOfYatesCounty.org), an event that she supported and participated in many times.
