Joanna Jensen

Born January 10,1961, Joanna (Joanie) Jensen of Penn Yan, NY, died on Saturday February 4, 2023 at the age of 60 at Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua after a long illness.

A 1981 graduate of Penn Yan Academy, Joanna is survived by her children Jonathan Jensen, Kassondra (Joseph) Larzalere, Andrea (Jeff) Bailey, Jeremiah Johnston, Joshua Johnston and Melissa (Zachary) Geroux and Grandchildren, Alaura, Bethany, Clayton, Christopher, Crystal, Maddox, and Abigail.

Joanna loved strays, animal and human alike, and would try to help others even when she could not help herself.

She was fiercely protective of her autonomy.  She did her best and for as long as she was able lived life on her own terms. 

There will be a memorial picnic and bonfire for any who would like to attend on July 22, 2023, 3PM at 860 Crows Nest Rd, Penn Yan NY 14527.
