JoAnn Champlin

JoAnn Kreutziger Champlin of Penn Yan, NY passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022.

JoAnn was born on January 26, 1935 in Penn Yan, NY to Carl and Dora Kreutziger.  

JoAnn worked many years at Hendersons Drug Store.  She and her late husband, Keith Champlin, were past owners of the Valley Inn restaurant with Fred and Loretta Hopkins in Guyanoga, NY.

She and her husband were avid motorcyclists and proud Honda Goldwing owners.  They traveled on their motorcycle around the Finger Lakes, to Lake George, New England, and even going as far as Oklahoma.  JoAnn enjoyed reading, playing cards, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

JoAnn was predeceased by her husband Keith Champlin and her stepson Blake (Roxanne) Champlin.   JoAnn is survived by her son Scott (Andrea) McElwee and stepsons Brad (Cindy) Champlin and Brian (Kate) Champlin, and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will be no calling hours or service.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements with Weldon Funeral Home, Penn Yan.
