Jennifer Golden

Jennifer Golden, 52, of Penn Yan, NY passed away unexpectedly on December 10, 2022.

Jennifer was born on May 23, 1970 to Ray and Betty Ann Smith in San Antonio, TX. In 1985, Jennifer met the love of her life, Jamie Golden at the age of 15 years old; married by 1991. Jennifer and Jamie welcomed their first son, Lucas Golden in 1991 where they started their next chapter of life in Penn Yan, NY. Jennifer’s second son, Garrett Golden, was welcomed in 2001.

Jennifer will be remembered for her compassion, kindness and love for all who crossed her path. She was steadfast in her devotion to Jesus Christ and most recently found home in Wellspring Fellowship of Penn Yan, NY. Her first grandbaby, Penelope Reese Golden (Lucas & Brielle Golden) born in 2020, was her pride & joy. She is, and always will be, our wife, mother, sister, aunt & beloved friend.

Jennifer was predeceased by her father Ray Smith. She is survived by her husband Jamie Golden, sons Lucas (Brielle) Golden and Garrett Golden, mother Betty Ann Smith, siblings Robert Smith, Susan (Leonard) West, Steven Smith and Jeffrey Smith, in-laws Ron (Kathy) Golden, and granddaughter Penelope (Lucas) Golden.

An intimate family service will be held followed by a celebration of Jennifer’s life with date forthcoming. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to CareNet of Penn Yan, NY: an organization Jennifer felt passionate about.
