Jarod G. Brown

Age 38, of Dundee, passed away from the result of a tragic accident on May 13, 2024.  

Jarod was born on May 9, 1986 in Geneva, the son of Gary Brown, Jr. and Dawn (Fuller) Pollack.   He pursued his education at Alfred State College following his graduation from high school in Dundee.  He worked as a mechanic at Parmenter, Tire, Auto and Truck Service in Geneva, a job he loved.  

He was predeceased by his mother Dawn Pollack, father-in-law James Austin, and maternal grandparents. 

He is survived by his loving wife Brittany (Austin) Brown; their 4 year-old son, Kyson Brown; father Gary (Wilma) Brown Jr., step-father Mark Pollack; brothers Brady Snell and Justin Brown; sister Amanda Hausman; paternal grandparents, Gary (Diana) Brown Sr., Janice Brown; mother-in-law Brenda Austin (Jamie Hall);  sister-in-law Amanda (Nathan) Preston; step-brothers and sisters, Donald (Sandy), Rodney (Kim), Dale(Michelle), and Duane(Brandy) Gee, Janet Crance, Judy Isabella, and Carolyn (Steve) Brockway; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.   

Jarod loved  the outdoors, especially spending time fishing, four wheeling, and hanging out with friends that were like a second family.  His most special times were spent with the love of his life, and his darlin’ and little man.   

The family will receive friends at Weldon Funeral Home, 102 E. Main St., Penn Yan on Saturday (May 25) from 5-7pm; followed by a funeral service to remember his life, at 7:00pm.   

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.  Especially those friends he called Brothers.  His spirit will forever remain alive in the hearts of all who loved him. May he rest in peace knowing he was cherished deeply by many.
