Ingrid Alden

    Ingrid L. Alden, 92, of Penn Yan passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Penn Yan Manor. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to Penn Yan Manor Nursing Home 655 N. Liberty St. Penn Yan, N.Y. 14527. Ingrid was born Oct. 1, 1927 in Germany, the daughter of the late Kurt and Anna Ullrich Hofman. Ingrid belonged to the Women of the Moose, the Does of Elks and the VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons, Robert (Jennifer) Alden of Oklahoma and Michael (Mindy) Alden of Penn Yan; four daughters, Margitta (Chris) Ullrich of Pennsylvania, Mary (Carl) Nelson of Penn Yan, Karen Alden of Oklahoma, and Christine (Ted) Williams of Arkansas; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Peter (Gisella) Hofman of Germany, and a sister-in-law, Gerda Hofman of Germany.
