Hilary Wilhelmina Rundt

73, a long-time resident of Branchport, New York, passed away in the morning of October 3, 2023. At the age of 73 years old she begins her new journey. Her overwhelmingly large heart could not defend itself against the strains from the battle of cancer.

She was born in Dansville, NY on November 26, 1949, the daughter of Richard and Winifred Schenck.  She is survived by her sons, Brian, Greg, and Aaron Rundt; daughter, Francine Waugh; brothers, Alan Schenck, and David Anderson; sisters, Dorothy Anderson, Katherine McDaniels, Jo Anderson, Beverly Anderson Barnhart, Gerry Shaver, and Barbara Anderson; grandchildren, Christopher, Breana, Fernanda, Talana, Emma, Casey, Bennett, Hunter; and great-granddaughter, Ellie.  She was predeceased by granddaughter, Doschanelle. 

Hilary had a passion for the wonders of nature and enjoyed capturing it within her art. Blissfully expressing her passion through music and singing or on canvas and crafts. Her service to humanity stretched for 33 years as a nurse’s aide at Thompsson Hospital in Canandaigua, New York.  It is now time for her to bless others as she has here on Earth.

A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
