Eugene A. Hall 

Age 86, of Second Milo Rd., Penn Yan, NY passed away peacefully on November 26, 2024..

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Carol Hall in 2021.

He is survived by his son Michael (Karen) Hall; and his much-adored grandsons, Kellen and Brendan. He is also survived by his sister, Doris Sutton, and several nieces and nephews.

Eugene was born in Penn Yan on January 17, 1938, the son of Chester and Anna (Hobart) Hall. He served in the United States Army from 1961-1964, stationed at Fort Benning, GA. Gene was a proud Penn Yan resident his entire life. 

He worked as a serviceman for Fitch Oil in Penn Yan, and later Suburban Propane in Geneva. In his last employment before retirement, he enjoyed working as a caretaker at Clinton Crest Manor. 

The family will receive friends at Weldon Funeral Home, 102 E. Main St., Penn Yan on Wednesday (Dec. 4th) from 1pm-3pm; followed by a funeral service and military honors at the funeral home. 

Memorial donations in his memory may be made to Humane Society of Yates County Shelter of Hope. Please remember him for his fondness for animals, especially his dear dog Hank, and his love of country music.
