Donna M. McMichael

Age 88, of Penn Yan, passed away July 8, 2024.

Donna was born in Liberty, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Elmer and Sadie Miller. She was also predeceased by her husband Meredith H. McMichael in 1994.

Donna was a longtime member and club manager of the Loyal Order of Moose Club #2030 in Penn Yan, performing every job at some time or other, where she loved her many friends at the club like they were family.

She is survived by her daughters, Jackie Carlsen, Annette “Toni” (Bill) Reed, and Tammy (Mark) Panzik; sons, Steve McMichael, Timothy (Sheila) McMichael, and Theodore (Paula) McMichael; sister, Betty Lou Snyder; and grandchildren, Eric (Danielle) Carlsen, Kimberly Carlsen, Kristin Cardinale, Meghan (Joseph) McMichael, Meredyth (Matt) McMichael, Brett (Mariah) McMichael, Reid McMichael, Brooke (David) McMichael, Terry (TJ) McMichael, Tanya Hubbard, Cassidy McMichael, Joe (Sue) Reed, Matt (Kendra) Reed, Michael (Emily) McMichael, and Mark Panzik; great-grandchildren, Coby Cardinale, Avery, Blake and Madelyn Carlsen, Kinley McMichael, Cody McIntyre, Aliyah Hubbard, Edward and Andrew Reed, Carter and Garrett Reed, Maeve and Aubrey McMichael, Gavin McCurdy, and Hudson, Chance and Cooper Panzik; and special friend Su Peterson.  She was predeceased by her husband Meredith “Jug” McMichael, son Terry McMichael, and10 brothers and sisters. 

A private graveside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband. A public Celebration of Life will be held Saturday (July 27th) starting at 12:00pm at the Loyal Order of Moose club, 301 E. Elm Street. A time of sharing and remembrances will start at 1:00pm.
