David L. LaFave

Age 70, of Branchport, NY, passed away March 9, 2024.

David was born in Malone, NY on August 11, 1953, the son of Leo and Beulah (Burgess) LaFave.  He graduated from Salmon River High School in in 1971.  

He was predeceased by his parents; and four brothers, Donald, Edward, Carl and Lee.  

He is survived by his sister, Elayne Ulrich of Manchester, NY; along with a large extended family of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as great-great nieces and great-great-nephews.
 
David cherished spending time with his family and friends. He had a special bond with his many nieces and nephews and delighted in playing with them. In his free time, he could often be found at the local hangout spots like McDonalds, Subway or the Chinese Restaurant with his friends. Known for his helpful nature, David would always go out of his way to lend a hand to others. He was also a skilled tinkerer who enjoyed working on cars and fixing things. When relaxing, he indulged in playing video games and Word Jumble games.
 
In accordance with David's wishes, there will be no formal services held. Instead, his family will host a private Celebration of Life at their convenience to honor and remember the wonderful moments shared with David.
