Daniel A. Blauvelt

 Age 36, of Penn Yan, passed away from a motorcycle accident on July 19, 2024. 

He is survived by his children whom he loved and adored, 12yo Alexamae Blauvelt and 8yo Remington Blauvelt. Also, parents, Chris and Sharon Blauvelt of Penn Yan; sisters, Tracey (Paul) Darcy of Dundee, Nichole Richardson (Nathan Ames) of Penn Yan, and Keri Blauvelt (Patrick Johnson) of Penn Yan; grandmother Natalie Blauvelt of Penn Yan; nine nieces and nephews, and many aunts and uncles. 

He was predeceased by his grandfather, Howard Blauvelt, uncles David Blauvelt, Ernie Callaway, and James O’Brien, and niece J.C. Darcy.

Dan graduated from Penn Yan Academy and worked for Hamm’s Nursery, Landscaping and Design in Penn Yan. He loved spending time with his children, riding his motorcycle and spending time in the outdoors. He was an amazing son, father, brother, uncle and nephew and will be missed by everyone. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday September 21, 2024 at the American Legion Pavilion, 2001 Himrod Rd, Penn Yan starting at 2pm; with a time of sharing at 3pm.
