Cherylanne Barton Gray, born on December 30, 1961, in Hamilton, MA, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2024, surrounded by her beloved family after a courageous three-year battle with pancreatic cancer. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and a cherished friend to many, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and strength.

Cherylanne's career as an ICU Nurse Manager at Geneva General Hospital and Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital showcased her unwavering dedication to caring for others. Her nursing journey began with earning a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Keuka College in 1983, a milestone that paved the way for her meaningful contributions to the healthcare community. She was involved with various local hospital organizations, the Red Cross, and pet therapy, reflecting her profound commitment to service.

A person of great heart and infectious humor, Cherylanne found joy in every moment spent with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren: Alexander, Charlotte, Luciana, and Lorenzo. Her passion for life extended beyond family gatherings; she was also a proud member of the ‘Stitch and Bitch’ crew and participated in various sewing and crafting groups. The ocean's embrace and spending time outdoors with her dogs brought her immense joy and peace.
