Charlotte J. Ladd

Age 77, of Penn Yan, NY, passed away on January 28, 2024.   

She was born in Hornell, NY on August 23, 1946.  

Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to the care of others in the field of healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

She lovingly served various healthcare facilities including Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Corning Hospital, Steuben County Nursing Home, and finally as a Hospice Aide with Ontario-Yates Hospice.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Bernard Ladd; five children, David (Kim) Casterline of Rural Ridge, PA, Susan Fulkrod of Geneva, Jean Blake of Rochester, Tammy Ladd (Mike Kopczynski) of Keuka Park, and Kevin (Debbi) Ladd of Corning; five brothers and sisters, Eloise Turner, Robert Spangenberg, Herbert Spangenberg, Linda Spangenberg and Eleanor Colvin; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.  

According to her wishes, a private Celebration of Life will be held at their home at a later date.

Weldon Funeral Home of Penn Yan is assisting the family.
