Carol N. Shriver

Age 73, of Penn Yan, NY, passed away Sunday February 19, 2023. 

A graveside service will be held Wednesday (March 1) at 1:00pm at St. Michaels Cemetery in Penn Yan. 

Carol was born on August 5, 1949, the youngest of seven children to the late Harry and Sarah McLoud.  She was predeceased by her parents, husband Eric Shriver; and siblings, including, Raymond (Jane) McLoud, Joyce (Alfred) Hammond, Joan Herriott, Alan McLoud, Margaret Hannan; sister-in-law Barb McLoud, infant son James Shriver. 

She is survived by her daughter, Mindy Gilbert of Geneva; son Brian (Pamela) Shriver of Branchport; brother Eugene McLoud of Penn Yan; grandchildren, Henry and Alyssa Shriver; and several nieces and nephews.

Carol worked many years at the Canandaigua VA Medical as a CNA.  She also worked formerly at Penn Yan Boats.  She also worked for Fox’s Refinishing, refinishing furniture.
