Beverly A. Stage

Age 85, of Penn Yan, NY passed away peacefully with family by her side at Taylor Health Center in Bath, NY on December 14, 2021.

The family will receive friends at the Weldon Funeral Home, 102 E. Main St., Penn Yan on Wed., December 29 from 11am-1pm; followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00pm and interment at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, State Route 54, Hammondsport, NY.

Beverly was born in Penn Yan on Aug. 6, 1936, the daughter of Clifford and Pearl (McSwain) Swain.  She worked 25 years at Westinghouse/North American Philips in Bath.  She was predeceased by her husband James Stage in 1982, infant daughter Karen Stage, and brothers and sister, Alton and Merle Wheadon, and Yvonne McConnell.

Beverly loved playing Bingo and Euchre at St. Mark’s Terrace in Penn Yan, where she resided for the past 6 years. She had many close friends there. 

She is survived by her children, Kerry (Tom) Coon of Penn Yan; Jerry (LindaSue) of Tennessee, brother Raymond (Ferolyn) Swain of Bath; four grandchildren, Amy Coon of Tennessee, Brian Coon of Penn Yan, Cassandra Stage of Waterloo, and Angel Grisham of Tennessee; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
