Agnes C. DeBolt 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 29. Per Aggie's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Lakeview Cemetery. Agnes Catherine Koek was born in Colorado April 11, 1922 to Chris and Johanna Jensen Koek. Her parents originally from Demark moved from Colorado to Penn Yan when she was 2 years of age. She lived in Penn Yan all the rest of her life. She married Howard D. Sorensen August 10th 1940. They had two daughters together, Carol Sorensen Howell (Dave) and Patsy Sorensen Pulver (Dave). Howard was killed in action in WWII on the Ludendorf Bridge, Germany, March 5, 1945. Aggie married Frank E. DeBolt Jr on June 14, 1946. They had three children together, Frank E. (Skip) DeBolt III (Janet), Donna DeBolt Deland (Bill) and Peter DeBolt who was her caretaker in later years. She is loved and will be missed by her children, 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, sister in laws Mildred Koek, Billie Koek, brother in law Bob Sorensen and many nieces and nephews. Agnes was predeceased by her husbands Howard D. Sorensen and Frank E. DeBolt Jr. Brothers Marvin and Glen Koek, siter Elsie Hemminger, siter in laws Arlene Richmond and Josie Kjar and son in law Dave Pulver. Arrangement are with Weldon Funeral Home
