Russell C. Travis, 81, passed away peacefully at home on May 9th, 2018 with his loving family by his side. A memorial service will be held at Milo Center Methodist Church on Saturday May 19th at 11AM officiated by Pastor Kimberly Lyons. A private burial will be held. Russell was born on November 10, 1936 into the arms of Claude and Harriett Travis. He graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 1954. Russell proudly worked for Penn Yan Express for over 20 years, later retiring from Howard's Express in Auburn. He was a charter member of the Penn Yan Moose Lodge and a lifetime member of the Penn Yan Elks Lodge. He enjoyed playing cards, golf, western movies and a good joke. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Betsy, his children Pamela Webster, Michael Travis, Michele (Quent) Gardner, stepchildren; Douglas (Stacy) Wills and Jennifer (Doug) Dolaway, grandchildren; Katelyn, Gary, Christy, Ryan and Rachel, step grandchildren; Krystal, Steven, Jonathan and Matthew, step great grandchildren; Mikalah, Mackenzie, Jesse, Landon and Madison, also his sister Mildred Koek. Russell was predeceased by a son, Ronald Kennedy, his parents, his siblings; Howard Travis, Lillian Strong and Donald Travis.
