Elizabeth J Stoddard

Elizabeth (Liz) Stoddard, Age 80, of Tyrone, NY passed away at home on Sunday, May 20th, 2018.  Elizabeth was born June 1, 1937 in Montour Falls, NY, daughter of the late Robert and Mabel Schoffner.  She was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness.  Survivors include her daughter Cynthia Rappleye, granddaughters Kristin (Nicholas) Haner, Angel Rappleye & Gary Hoagland.  Brothers John and Ronald (June) Schoffner; sisters Marion Harrison, and Doris Oliver of Schuyler County, NY.  Several nieces, nephews and cousins and precious friendships.  She was predeceased by her husband Franklin Stoddard, son Joe Dee Stoddard, and brother Robert Schoffner, Jr. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4-6 PM at the funeral home with services at 6 PM. A gathering for friends and family will be at the Tyrone Fire Hall from 3:30 to 7 PM on Sunday May 27th. Burial will be at a later date.
